Education
Deep learning, vibrant training, and exceptional scholorship
Watch video of Chris Chapple on Yoga, Nonviolence (Ahimsa), and Ecology at Yoga Glo

The Green Yoga Association has run two cohorts of our Teacher Leadership program.  These week-long trainings have been offered as part of our Green Yoga Conferences.

We are very fortunate to have the academic guidance of Christopher Key Chapple, Doshi Professor of Indic and Comparative Theological Studies at Loyola Marymount University. Through his insights, curriculum planning, and his extraordinary teaching ability, we have successfully provided several dozen teachers with the tools to spread Green Yoga through their teaching and their teacher trainings.

Check out the curriculum from this year's program at LMU.

Please stay tuned, as we will be announcing the next cohort for the Yoga and Ecology certificate in 2010.

We have promoted in-depth research into the historical connection between Yoga teachings and the environment. Books on the subject can be gotten through our shop. We have listed many other resources.
