The Green Yoga Conference is taking place at Pema Osel Ling Monastery in the Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern California. The site is located about 2 hours drive south of San Francisco, 35 minutes from Santa Cruz, and about an hour away from both Monterey and San Jose.

In support of our vision of minimal environmental impact, please plan to carpool with other attendees, or to arrive by public transit. We will email carpool information to all registered attendees well before the event.

ARRIVING BY PUBLIC TRANSIT

If you are arriving by train, bus, or airplane, we recommend planning to make San Jose your destination. The San Jose metro, San Jose Caltrain stop, San Jose airport, San Jose Greyhound, and San Jose Amtrak are all within three miles of each other. We are currently researching a shuttle service that will run from these locations to Pema Osel Ling, or a public bus with transfer to a shuttle consignment. In order to be able to meet the shuttle consignment, you will need to plan to arrive in San Jose between the hours of 12 noon and 4:00 pm on Friday the 16th of September. We cannot support shuttle service for those whose planned arrival in San Jose is after 4:00 pm on Friday. We will post here the details of this service as they become available, and email them to registered attendees.

If you must arrive in Oakland or San Francisco by airplane, you will need to get yourself to San Jose by researching airport transit info, and then we can support your journey from San Jose. Again, you must plan to arrive in San Jose by 4:00 pm in order to connect with the shuttle arrangements we will support.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

Driving from San Francisco:
Take either Hwy 101 S or 280 South. Connect to Highway 85 S until you reach Rte 17 S. When you are heading south on Rte. 17, get off at the Summit Road Exit immediately after the overpass, and then go to the right back over the overpass. At the stop sign make a left onto Summit Road and follow for 5.9 miles until the only stop sign. Make a right and then a quick left (there is a sign pointing to Corralitos) on to Highland Rd. which will turn into Eureka Canyon Rd. From the Highland Road turn off from Summit, Pema Osel Ling is approximately 8.7 miles on the right.

Driving from Santa Cruz Area:
From Santa Cruz, come south on Highway 1. Take the Freedom Boulevard exit and go left over the freeway. After 5 miles you will come to a stop sign where you will make a left on Corralitos Road. Follow this for 2 miles. At the four-way stop sign the road becomes Eureka Canyon. Go straight and cintinue for 6.7 miles. Pema Osel Ling is on the left side, with a big blue and gold sign posted at the entrance.

From Watsonville, take the Airport Boulevard Exit. At the junction with Freedom Boulevard, make a left on Freedom Boulevard and follow it out of town a couple miles. At the stop sign, make a left onto Corralitos Road. The directions from this point are the same as the ones above.

Driving from Los Angeles:
Take I-5 North to CA-152 West towards Gilroy/Hollister/San Jose. Bear Right on to CA-152 and go approximately 15 miles. Continue on Pacheco Pass Hwy - go 25 mi. Bear Left at E. 10th St. Turn Left on Rte 101 S. Entry Ramp towards Los Angeles for 13 Miles. Bear Right at San Juan Road and go 8 miles. Turn Right at Porter Drive and go .1 mile until Main Street. Continue on Main Street for .9 miles. Turn Right at Freedom Boulevard for 4.4 miles. Turn Right at Corralitos Road for 1.8 miles and continue on Eureka Canyon Road for 6.5 miles until you see the Pema Osel Ling Entrance.

PARKING

Parking is limited, and in keeping with our mission carpooling is strongly encouraged. There will be a $15 per car parking fee upon arrival; the fee will be reduced to $7.50 for those arriving with two in the car, and the fee will be waived for those with three or more per car.
